Into the Grey

He flicks his wrist rather slowly being bogged down by the liquid shadow... lightning strikes the blackness, electrifying the water and him inside the white flash and energy making the darkness seem lighter. After waiting for what felt like hours, the electricity stopped swirling round the darkness and it had changed colour... it wasn't the continuous flashing that made it seem like it was grey, it was really grey now. Twisting the baton, lightning hit the grey water again this time petrifying it in place, before turning back to black then back to water where it fell back into place filling the lake again.  It keeps failing... I can't get rid of him I can't induce him.... I can't bloody do anything about him. My stupid brother is here to stay for now.

I can't let him get the better of me, not again... I will not kill my frenemies for you Brother. I am taking a trip, away from them away from everyone... you will be able to hurt no one, apart from me where we are going. He flicks his baton to the sky, where he is hit by lightning and uses the power of his brothers light to travel to Sweden, where he stops atop a snowy mountain. Here you will not be able to hurt anyone, all those failed tests will not be in vain, I know how you hate the cold he says as he proceeds to lay on the snow topped mountain in a full frontal blizard, this way it's better for everyone.

Hours passed atop the mountain, the blizzard still blaring the snow around him had turned black, with his necromancy, the darkness almost coming from lucifer's cage to meet him, and to keep him living. The blizzard and snow stopped in a dazed state, like you could reach out and touch one snowflake and they would all fall to the mountainside, directly above the spot where he was now hidden by blackened snow there was a patch of white sky different to the snow different to the sun. This was his brothers power conflicting with his own, light and dark being wielded at once his body would never survive. His body couldn't even survive a few measly hours in a blizzard without freezing and dying how could it hold up against such fierce opposing powers.

His body had been rigid for hours until the snow stopped finally the shadows were not enough sustenance especially since he was doing nothing about his impending freezing. Suddenly lightning strikes the exact centre of the black snow that resembles a circle drawn terribly freehand scattering most of it into the air, where it stays still like the rest, the white energy from the sky starts sparking furiously grabbing the body and hauling it from it's resting place, all of the snow falling as it does so. The closer he gets to the white energy the more the black snow starts to follow him forming a ball beneath him both trying to force him into the energy making him choose his fate, death magic or life magic who would he be in his next life?
